What do you think about your hands?

Our Summer 2025 directive has launched!

For this directive MO has teamed up with researchers from The Morgan Centre to collaborate of three directive topics. We hope to collaborate with the centre in the future, repeating topics around the body, objects and spaces. In this directive we’ve asked writers to respond to questions about hands, time pieces and kitchens.

Part 1: The Human Body – hands

For Part.1 of this directive we are interested to hear how writers experience their hands in day-to-day life. We would like to know how people use them and their feelings about this, but also their relationship with the hands of others.

Part 2: Objects from Your Life – time pieces

For the second part of this directive, we are keen to hear about the ways
in which time pieces, like clocks and watches and so on, figure in the lives of our writers everyday life.

Part 3: A place in your life – the kitchen

For the final part of this directive, we are keen to know about a kitchen
people use. This could be in their home, a shared kitchen where they live, or maybe a kitchen at work or one where they spend a lot of time.
